High latency/MS at prime time.

Hello there,

 

Over the last few weeks I've been experiencing very high latency/MS/Ping to a number of different servers.

 

This occiurs almost soley in prime time, where my usual latency of about 30 goes up to 300-500 for about 6 hours between 6 and midnight.

 

I've tried this to severl different servers, from google.com to testing it via pingtest.net

The speed of my connection seems to be relatively unaffected, just the latency goes right up.

 

Does anyone have any ideas?

could you try with a wired connection as you may have a wireless interference problem causing a lot of data resends

I just tested with a wired connection, I get the same result.

go to windows command prompt type in tracert bbc.co.uk
and when complete post back the result

 

also  post your hub stats  and the further diagnostics part of the BT speedtest  http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/
