Hi, I have just recieved my new Home Hub 2 with disc, having done the initial pairing with the main Hub and it has been recognised in the Smart Hub 2 Manager (set it has Living Room) under the Wireless Connections section.
I then sellected a strong signal location and switched it on... the disc still shows as wireless device on Smart Hub 2 Manager, so far so good
Question.. should I see 'Living Room' (i.e the new extender disc) on my android phone Wi-Fi Direct page or is it just an extension of my Main Home Hub?
I do have two other BT extenders around the house that can be selected on my phone (depending on the strongest signal) I am hoping to dispence with these if the new disc does what it says on the can and cover the whole house.

The whole point of the Complete WiFi solution is that you don't know whether you are connected to the SH2 or the Disc. Your devices simply connect to the strongest signal. If you open up the Smart Hub Manager or use the MyBT App you can see which devices are connected to the SH2 and Disc.
The SSID is the same on both. See below for a screenshot of the Smart Hub 2 Manager. Note the name of the Disc showing Living-Room.
Thanks for the reply, I thought with the disc having a WPS button on the back it was for someone to do a scan on thier phone & connect to the correct piece of equipment (ie make it detectable).
As you can see below the screen indiacates x2 wireless devices but on Wi-Fi Disc Devices it indicates zero?
Hi @Pazz. Yes the Living Room 5GHz connection on the SH2 is the internal connection between the SH2 and the Disc. On user WiFi connections you will see the Disc icon. If you toggle your WiFi on your phone off and on while close to the Disc it should connect to it.
