Re: Home Hub 3b upload speed cap/issue/bug?

Go to solution

I thought that messing with the modem could affect DLM not the home hub. Did I understand wrong? I didn't touch the modem.

Disconnecting the homehub excessively can have the same affect.

I'm with winry and legitimise_sailing on this.  But there may well be circumstances we hadn't thought of/heard of.

Do we have any evidence of frequent HomeHub disconnects causing problems?

Does it affect the lower cabinet->model level connection, or does it have some effect on the IP/BRAS, or ...?

It's happen to me a few times yes, I thought it wouldn't but obviously the modem detects the constant disconnects.

Give it a try and let me know how it goes 😉

Some people get confused because rebooting the router brings the IP profile into line with DLM.
