Why do you want the HH5. What is wrong with the Homehub you have? The HH5 won't give you faster speeds. Check out the forum for HH5 and have a read through some of the problems before you decide you must have one. Remember the old saying " If it ain't broke don't fix it".
In answer to your question, I don't think they are now allowed to add it to your bill. You could phone the options team 0800.800.030 and ask them.
