Thanks,
I went for the TP Link AC1200 in the end, hopefully all will be well.
I went for the c50, it is a cheap one I think, private seller on ebay had a brand new one for £30 posted so went for it.
Looks okay, 4 antenna so hopefully has okay wifi range.

That will not work, as @Rob364 has said. You would have to buy a separate modem as well, so its going to work out expensive.
It would have been better if you had asked here first, before sending for it. Its possible the seller made the same mistake, as its a common one to make.
You could have bought a complete unit that would work, for £40 as I suggested earlier.
I see,
I will send it back when it arrives and get something else, it's no biggie.
Or you could get one of these from a well known auction site for a tenner.

The one I mentioned works fine, unless you really must have 5GHz as well, with its very limited range.
Otherwise look at this one https://www.tp-link.com/au/products/details/cat-15_Archer-VR400.html
which is the one you originally said, but got the numbers mixed up.
I only live in a flat but the home hubs seem to have issues with range, not sure why, they won't reach the front room which is like 10 meters away.
I think I will look at the VR400 when I send back the C50.

I think the build quality between the home hubs must vary, but a short range can be due to fact that the only three channels that the home hub 6 can access, could be in use by other nearby routers.
This will cause connection problems.
Third party routers allow any of the 13 wireless channels to be selected, so you can usually find one which has less interference on it. The HH5 had this facility, if Smart Wireless was turned off.
