Yes, I'm using the same filter. Nothing has changed except that I'm connecting via the test socket. Download speed has doubled back to what it was a few days ago. I will leave it like this for a few days as you suggested.

I have spent a most infuriating day with this and I've never known my connection be so unstable in the ten years I've been with BT.

 

Using the test socket, the Home Hub is continually rebooting itself and all this began on May 1st. Up until that time, I'd never had any problems whatsoever. Now I have speeds that fluctuate from fast to non-existent. My IP Profile seems to change continually and my overall download speed has halved.

 

Even as I'm typing this, I can see it has gone again.

Right now, this is unusable for me because it's simply not a connection I can rely on.

There are no problems reported on my exchange. The Quiet Noise test: I can hear an intermittent ticking.

 

Here is the WAN lofg file for this morning. Multiple disconnections continue. Broadband completely unusable.

if you can hear noise on the quiet line test the you need to report it to BT Faults on 151 with no mention of broadband in the call once solved broadband should start to improve

ticking suggests interference possbly electrical  is there anything here

I have not altered this equipment in over a year and I am careful to make sure nothing ever upsets it. No-one seems to be able to explain to me why the HH cannot hold a connection for sometimes no more than a few minutes.

If I see still this as problem tomorrow, I will ring and report a fault with the HH. That's saying nothing of how my speed has fallen.

Same cabinet, same phone number but significantly lower speeds.

Something is wrong somewhere.
