Had similar issues with my sisters flat, they just upgraded the hub. iPhone connected fine and my laptop (Mac) also connected and had full signal but websites were not opening.
I finally solved the problem by:
- Open Network Preferences
- Open Advanced... (Bottom right)
- Select the DNS tab
- Select the existing DNS servers and delete them
- A new DNS server should automatically reappear, leave it
- Your internet should now work
