HomeHub 3 Type B trouble

Go to solution

Problem started when the wifi signal to my laptop went. Moved to the iMac and found I couldn't even open up the HomeHub manager page through the ethernet connection. All lights on both modem and router were still showing connection. Checked all leads were properly connected, still nothing. So no wifi, no ethernet.

Pressed and held the restart button on the black box. That did nothing, didn't even switch it off. All lights stayed on and I still couldn't connect.

Finally pulled out the power lead and reconnected, after which it seemed to be OK when it finally got up and running. However, it's not the first time this has happened, so I need to know whether I'm doing something wrong before I log a complaint.

Reset the home hub to factory default, as the config file is probably corrupted.

Thanks Keith - and thanks for moving it to the right forum.

It's behaving at the moment and I have things I need to get done, so will check those links later. If necessary, I'll come back with a new thread, so I'll mark this as accepted solution.

Thanks again.
