How To Change Phone Plans Online

I am trying to change my phone plan from My Anytime Calls to a Pay As You Go Calling Plan. I have tried contacting contacting the  Value Team several times but after waiting over 30 minutes I keep giving up. Is there a way that I can change the plans on line? - if there is - please can you outline the steps - thanks

You can change it in your MyBT.  Just go to 'Your products' and click 'Manage'

Pay As You Go is one of the new calling plans, available to customers who joined or renewed on or after October 19th 2019, are you line only or do you have broadband with BT as well ?

Re: How To Change Phone Plans Online

Thanks for the advice which I followed. However, I ran into a few problems.

First on my bill the package is called My Anytime Calls but online it is called Unlimited Anytime Calls however it is at the same rate as I am being charged therefore I am assuming it is the same thing but different names - am I correct?

The next problem was that I couldn't find the Pay As You Go Calling Plan on the options that I could select - what can I do to find it?

When did you last recontract? If it was before PAYG was introduced you need to recontract to get that option. If you're on the older plans you should still be able to change to weekend calls just now

Checking through my notes I can't find any information about when the current contract started therefore it was probably before PAYG - is there any way checking online when my current contract started?
