How can you view the full range of "normal" packages (not for new customers)

Short version:  Where can I see the range of packages available for existing customers without logging in and only seeing those that BT want to sell to *me* when I am not the customer.

Long version:  My elderly mum seems to have fallen foul of the usual BT scams and has countless add-ons that she neither uses nor needs and has no recollection of ever requesting.  She's got BT TV, Answer 1571 and the ubiquitous "Sport" package that gets slipped in as a freebie and subsequently becomes chargeable.  She doesnt need, want or use any of these.  Actually a lie, as 1571 stops her using her existing answerphone so she's a prisoner to that one!

She's hard of hearing, on her own and finds that every time she calls she gets different answers and usually an attempt to upsell further!

She has simple needs.  A phone line and a modest internet capability.  Yet BT seem incapable of publishing their range of packages unless you log in to the account.  She is unable to do this as she has no recollection of her password and no longer has access to her original email account.  As you can imagine, trying to discuss this with her over the phone is proving very stressful for her - it's something I would normally resolve by visiting, having her call BT then pass the phone to me.  But Covid.....

I thought I may be able to find out what "generic" existing customer packages exist, so I can establish the best option then send her the details so she can ring and provide exact details of what she wants/needs.

Can anyone point me to something isn't "curated for you, our most valued customer" or some other such marketing BS intended to obfuscate the process please?

This once again confirms the real value of consumer-led help forums 😂

I sympathise - I'm having the same kind of trouble and I DO know all my sign-ons!  I found MoneySavingExpert and similar comparison sites useful for noting the range of options. This also brought to my attention just how badly I was being served by BT!  Also you could choose a random (other local) address and start the offer process to see what is presented! Good luck.

Having power of attorney might be a good move.  I'm getting to the age where I'm planning to award one.
