Just wondering, how do BT test that the firmware that they roll out to consumer devices is fit for purpose? I assume that they outsource firmware update testing to their suppliers, and just ask to see the test results. But, multi-band wifi (in the case of the Smart Hub 2 router) has been around for a long time now. How is it feasible that BT didn't have provision in place to test this stuff -automatically these days - before releasing it?
