How do I contact BT to order a replacement hub and get a credit for no service period

After a lightning strike at the local exchange and it taking out my residential AND business lines for a month and crossing the lines in the repair period how do I

a. Ask for a refund for a month of no telephones and or B Band and also

b. how do I replace the damaged hub ?

The BT web site is a nightmare and if you talk to an operator they just dump you back in automatic silly question hell !

You will unfortunately have to contact billing to see if they can sort out the refund.

As regards the damaged hub you will need to report a fault to BT. You might have a struggle getting it replaced as I have heard some customers having to argue when it was a lightning strike causing the fault. You may be able to claim your insurance if you do end up having to pay.
