A couple of months ago I closed my BT mobile account. When l log on to MyBT to look at my landline/broadband account, the account shown first is the old mobile account so I have to reselect landline and wait for it to change.
Can I either delete the mobile account or move it to second on the list so that I do not have to keep changing? I cannot see any way to do this.

Live chat is a bit of a waste of time. Just tried that to get an old inactive landline account deleted from MyBT and they had to transfer me (or tried to..... got disconnected).
They did call me back but then had to transfer me to someone else who I think understood what I was wanting.
Only time will tell...
Have only been trying to get this dead account removed for just over a year !
Thank you john46. I did exactly as you suggested and the very helpful lady on Live Chat deleted the mobile account for me.
It is just knowing how to get the right help, isn't it? This is obviously a good place to start. I have been going round in circles with this - I am glad you saw my post today. Thanks again.

I am still seeing my old account on MyBT.
Well, I decided to give it another go via Livechat...
Person at the other end did it immediately ! So when I log in now, I see only my active account.
Why couldnt the previous person do the same, or the 2 guys that called me ? Or the people I spoke to 2 months ago, 10 months ago and 15 months ago ?
Obviously varying degress of knowledge or ability over there !
