I've just been put on Call Protect, which I don't want. How do I get rid of it and return to my original settings?

Hi Keith
Thanks but there is no option there. I have 1571, with Privacy and CLI, plus number withheld. There is no option for 1571 without Call Protect.

There does not appear to be that option.
I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.
I have just checked the 3 Junk messages the system claims I have - pressed option 4 and got a continouous tone, like number unobtainable. At least it is good to know that some of it doesn't work.
I get almost no unwanted calls - never having been in a directory, registered on TPS and being careful who knows my number seems to avoid this problem.
And why don't I want it? It is an added complication to a function which is already provided perfectly by BT. I am, of course, still fuming about the Youview "update" which brought nothing I want and took away useful features - another story.
Hi @gspearson,
I'll be able to take a look at this for you. Please can you send me in your details using the "Contact The Mods" link found in my profile?
Thanks

I think the Contact the Mods link is missing. Geoff
Look here
You need to be logged in and viewing the full site, not the mobile version to see the link.
Is this any help?
Hi @gspearson
Thanks for speaking with me. Your Call Protect service should be switched off today so you will be back to 1571 on it's own. I am happy I was able to help

Thanks to Olga for fixing this. I now have 1571 and 1571 with Call Protect as options, with plain 1571 selected. So I can choose to take the Protect option if ever I need it. The option didn't show before.
