How do you answer a post on the old forums?

I see there are many new posts on the old forum.

When clicking reply, it takes me to the new forum.

I expect this means that the old posts are now read-only and will not be

migrated to the new forum?

A great deal of time went into posting in the old forum by everyone.

Has this work been lost now?

You cant answer any posts on the old forum that forum is in read only till February. One can assume after that the plains are likely for it to be erased.

Re: How do you answer a post on the old forums?

I think BT have removed the old forum as it was way too high on the google results for the search term BT Broadband.. Instead of searchers finding all the lovely, fluffy stuff about BT superfast 20 mbit broadband, they would instead be reading all about customers of BT having to deal with call centers on the sub continent telling them to wear red underpants, stand on one leg and reset their routers, about customers only getting 135kbps broadband (HAHA), or much much less than promised in speed. I will re-post some of the old posts here to carry on the jolly banter about how well BT treat their cashcows/customers/suckers

It is read only until the 26 February.

Any threads that were e-mailed to the mods before 6 January 'might' make onto here.

I asked about any threads created after 6 January (on the old forum) and didn't get a reply in time Man Sad

I know this is not ideal but.... you could copy the threads you were most interested in and then paste them in to here on keep them on a word doc.

Again I know its not ideal but its an idea Robot Sad
