Hi,
There are some games things that won't load or work properly for me, and I've figured out that it's due to my router (they work on my 4G).
I did three factory resets - two from putting a pin in the router, and one from the router's IP website. I've also left my router unplugged for some time after factory resets.
I did some research, and it seems that I need to clear my events or system log. I managed to find an 'events log' in my BT Smart Hub Manager, but can't see an option to clear it.
I think I have a BtHub6 with Fibre 2.
Please help!
Many thanks,
Jenny.
a factory reset should clear it - press the recessed button on back and hold for 20/30 secs until lights flash on hub
You can't clear the logs and even if you could it wouldn't have any effect. Not sure where you got the idea it would help.
Have you turned off smart setup on the hub, that might help.

Thank you so much for your suggestion.
I tried that, and also did another factory reset, then switched it off again. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Do you know if there is anything else I can try?
Perhaps if you told us what the problem is it might help!
There are some games we play online that will not load at all. But some of the games do work. Also chat rooms on the sites will not load. But they do load when I tried it on 4G, which I assume means it's a router problem.
I've tried clearing my cache and cookies more than once, and (as you know), done a few factory resets and router resets. I did some research, and came across having to clear the router history - which is where I came across clearing events log.
Forgive me for being a big technophobe!
First of all don't keep re-setting your hub, you will cause DLM to think you have a line fauklt and it will reduce your speed.
Check parental controls and web protect aren't enabled.
Thanks, now I think about it, the speed does seem a little reduced, but maybe that's just the BT website. I hope I haven't caused any damage!
As far as I can see, the parental controls and web protect are not activated.
