How do you speak to Customer Services?

Frequently (but not always) with extreme difficulty because they do not understand you and you do not understand them!

Just hope your enquiry is one dealt with at a UK Call Centre and not an Off-shore one.

Re: How do you speak to custormer services

Generally, I start off polite.

Then when they lie to me, or put me on hold to talk to other customers, I start to get very frustrated.

I cannot stand people who lie.

Re: How do you speak to custormer services

After 30 years of good service, I have had three problems in as many weeks and have wasted hours online or on the phone, because people don't understand me, I can't tell what they are saying (not just me as I passed the phone to my husband who had the same problem) or I'm being passed from one departmnet then back again. I had to repeat the problem over na sover, despite it's being written down in internet conversations.

Besides the recorded announcer, when you first ringup, are there any UK employees ?

I have my excellent broadband, with UK call centres, with O2 and I am very inclined to take thir phone package when my prepaid line rental is used up.

Re: How do you speak to custormer services

It appears there is onlya complaint facility via email. My complaint was misunderstood and no comment on the real issue (ie communication-what a surprise) was made.

Re: How do you speak to custormer services

I've only just joined this forum and it does appear to be a way of getting answers, so I'm going to give it a try.
