How long will it take to install a new line?

ive got an appointment to have an engineer install a new line at my flat on Friday. When they arrive, what do they need to do and how long will it take roughly?

Based on your last thread about there only being a VM box fitted, then it may take a couple of hours, depending on where the main Openreach network connection is located. Its not really possible to say.

There is no way of knowing, as each job is different.

If you are in a large apartment complex, then there would be a central distribution point where an internal cable would have to be run from, if one does not already exist.
