How many types and models of the Openreach Modem were there? + how to find out make of cabinet?

Hiya,

I want to get good VDSL Speeds and have two questions:

1) How many models of the Openreach Modem were there, I understand that there were ECI and Huawei but specific models. Which one is best for the 80/20 service?

2) How do I find out what make my cabinet is, I think there are a few in my area. Thanks!

3) Do ECI modems still work with Huawei and vice versa

Enter your phone number and post results. Delete number but leave exchange and cab number. Either modem will give yo an 80/20 connection assuming your line can handle it
