I registered for Friends and family International about an hour ago, and received an email telling me that I "can now start using your new international call rates to 236 destinations from 6p a minute" etc. But when I look at my BT account, it still isn't showing up as part of my package. Does this mean that if I made an international call today, then I'd still pay full price, or would I get my discount? Please help

It just means that BT are slow to update your MyBT
As long as the email says the service is now available, as opposed to giving some future date, then yes
