How to get a halo disc? Poor internet for gaming

Hi there

I have a halo package and I’m currently getting really bad connections when trying to use my broadband for gaming. When playing PS4 or Nintendo switch my ping is really high, sometimes upwards of 300ms.

I get download speeds of over 100mbps and upload of 30mbps can anyone help me understand why my connection is so bad and laggy?

 

I also have no idea how to get a halo disc as I can’t find anyway to actually contact BT and talk to a human, the website just wants me to sign up to a new contract, and phoning the help line results in hours wasted in a queue. 

very frustrated!

Welcome to this user forum.

Do you have the Smart Hub 2?

The extra disc is part of the BT Complete WiFi package, so I think you may have to change your contract. and pay the increased monthly cost.

A wifi connection is always going to be worse than a direct Ethernet connection.
