I found out how to get the BT Sport app fullscreen on windows 10 PC.
In 'desktop mode' of windows 10, right click the taskbar at the bottom and click 'properties'.
Then tick the 'auto hide the taskbar' checkbox.
After this, switch your PC to 'tablet mode' using the noitification bar in the bottom right hand corner.
Launch the BT Sport app and enjoy in full screen.
Very useful tip, thanks. But wouldn't it have been more sensible to actually provide a full screen option rather than continually faffing about going in and out of tablet mode??? The pic quality is excellent though, so congrats on that.
I just have the BT sport app pinned to my Windows 10 task bar so easy enough to select it from the task bar when I want to activate it plus iwhen watching the BT sport app and want to switch to another pinned or active task I bring the task bar into view and select the task I want.
Yes I see that, but it's just a workaround. Other streaming apps such as Netflix and Hulu give you a full screen option within the player. This would be more user friendly if you prefer to keep in desktop mode.
Many thanks for the fullscreen tip Mallett94! Been having terrible problems with my BT Sport player from the website for a little while now, all the usual reasons, buffering, pausing, freezing etc. In the last day i upgraded to Windows 10, got the new app, and suddenly getting a fantastic picture on my TV via HDMI, shame most of the footy is now over after at last finding a solution to my problems with the player recently!
