How would I request a DLM Reset for FTTC?

Go to solution

My DLM is restricting my line to 23mb/s and I would like to know how to reset it. Do I have to contact BT and will they do it remotely?

Just have patience, as explained previously, DLM will intervene automatically. There is no way to get a DLM reset with the figures you posted previously.

A DLM reset wouldn't help in your situation in any case. DLM resets put the noise margin at 6dB, the 3dB margin is only achieved after DLM monitors the line for a period of time after the reset.

Thank you for your response. I was just wondering as when I had Sky I had 34 mb/s.

you just need to wait and ensure that your connection remains stable no resets or drops in connection
