Hub 3 software update failing

OK, I have now officially given up with my Hub 5, due to it rebooting so much. I have put back my Openreach modem and Hub 3.

However it keeps failing the new firnaware download, any ideas....

Re: Hub 3 software update failing

You could try a factory reset of the Homehub 3 by pressing a pin into the recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds.

Alternatively you could use the Homehub 5 as a router connected to the Openreach modem if you still want to have the dual band wireless and the 4 GigE ports that the HH5 has. This does away with the VDSL modem connection of the HH5 which would appear to cause the reboots.
