Hub 6 not connecting to VPN

In the upcoming release according to the moderator post Smart Hub firmware.

And there was a new firmware version, SG4B10002236 seen on 11-Oct on according to Software updated tonight and all seems well, so if this is the new version.... hopefully soon.

New firmware has fixed the van problem. Now seem to be getting working ipv6 addresses. Got Google saying unknown devices with ipv6 addresses are accessing gmail etc.

Is there a way to trigger the firmware update? My sh6 still has the old firmware and I would like the vpn fix.

What a rediculous situation to be in.

I can no longer work from home as the HUB 6 will not connect to a VPN

Why is BT Sales still selling the HUB6 surely this is false advertising and can be reported, which is my next step.

4 calls and still trying to get put back on a HUB 5

Managed it !

Once received i have to see if it woks, return the Hub 6 then negotiate a reduction in my payments.

Great service ! for a possible Tech capital. Not with BT !

Having waited quit a few days for the firmware update it finally happened this week and VPN now works with W10 as well as it had with W7.

Shame it took so long.

Well I got the new firmware version (SG4B10002236) overnight, and my VPN connectivity that was working before is now broken.  Any suggestions?

What kind of VPN connection are you using?

The remote end is a draytek box. Would have to check the model and setup. Using W10 the settings are VPN type automatic with username and password signin. All standard. Does the SH6 reset as it used to or just not connect?
