Welcome to the community forum. I'm sorry you're having difficulties setting up an BT Email for yourself.
Can you check that you've claim account holder status for your BT ID? How can I change or check my Account Holder status?
When you log onto your MyBT do not click on "Your Package".
Once you have logged on to the first page/My Dashboard scroll down the page and you should have "manage your extras". Click on that and you should see BTMail.
If it is not there you will need moderator assistance to sort out the account.
I have notified the moderators of the forum about your problem. Once they have read this they may be able to help. They are a BT UK based team and if they can help they will reply via this thread asking you to contact them via a link. They are very busy at present so once you have replied to them by the link, it can take over 48 hours for them to re-contact you.
