I can't set up an email account

When I click on the email tab I get a message saying: "Sorry There isn't a BT Yahoo! Mail service associated with the username/email address you've entered." When I try to set one up through managing my inclusive extras, the is no email option.

Bump. Under 'Inclusive extras' my only options are 'phone extras' and 'mobile extras'.

Have you just become a BT broadband customer and is your broadband activated?

Hi @octopiggy,

 

Welcome to the community forum. I'm sorry you're having difficulties setting up an BT Email for yourself.

 

Can you check that you've claim account holder status for your BT ID? How can I change or check my Account Holder status?

My Bt page looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/SrZQtiI.png There is no "manage your extras" option. If I choose "inclusive extras", I get this: https://i.imgur.com/JTEbdcC.png No mention of email at all.

When you log onto your MyBT do not click on "Your Package".

 

Once you have logged on to the  first page/My Dashboard scroll down the page and you should have  "manage your extras". Click on that and you should see BTMail.

 

If it is not there you will need moderator assistance to sort out the account.

@gg30340 Taking those links takes me to the same Inclusive extras page I posted earlier, with no mention of email.

I have notified the moderators of the forum about your problem. Once they have read this they may be able to help. They are a BT UK based team and if they can help they will reply via this thread asking you to contact them via a link. They are very busy at present so once you have replied to them by the link, it can take over 48 hours for them to re-contact you.
