I give up on BT.

Broadband has been running at 0.10mbps for a month now. Two engineer visits , one fixed a fault (he said) nd the other just reset the dlm.

We used to get 3.5mbps. The ip profile is currently 0.14


DSL uptime: 0 days, 00:45:45
6. Data rate: 448 / 5856
7. Maximum data rate: 1116 / 5984
8. Noise margin: 20.0 / 6.0
9. Line attenuation: 29.0 / 45.5
10. Signal attenuation: 29.0 / 47.0

Your IP profile should be around 5meg with that connection rate. Have you called the helpdesk and requested a reset?

Yes , the engineer came and did it and I asked someone on live chat to do it also. It hasn't changed since, the hub has been on all the time except when it's dropped connection by itself...

if your connection is dropping then your IP profile will not increase or remain stable resetting your profile is point less if the connection is not stable

So it's a fault on the line then.

It's a long line and I understand the difficulties with the length but we have had 3.5meg and that's usable.

Every time an engineer comes they can't find any faults though

We are having a community fund to get FTTP but that's 6-12 months away 😞

Yes. I don't think it's our problem as two engineers have checked it out.

Awaiting a call from Mumbai this afternoon so they'll probably send another poor engineer , I almost feel sorry for them coming to this line!
