I think My HomeHub router blocked a website

I cant access a certain website (we have 1 PC, and 3 laptops all fail to access www.uploading.com)

but when i tried it with my mobile which has different internet connection it worked.

i tried restarting my router

disconnecting it and put it back on after several minutes

i also used different browsers IE9, Chrome, firefox all fail to access the website.

the only thing i think the reason was our router..

chrome often says its about the DNS thing..

plss help...much appreciated

Re: I think My HomeHub router blocked a website

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I have tried to access the site and had no problems, what version HH have you got. Do you have the BT supplied virus protection on all the computers with the problem.

If you have Fon/openzone on the hub, you could try to access via that.

(If I have helped you in any way please click the thumbs up. Thank You)

Re: I think My HomeHub router blocked a website

if it shows the tcp error when trying to connect it means it stuck in the filter again
it happens every few weeks with most file hosters
uploading and oron are the worst for it
try using a proxy

Re: I think My HomeHub router blocked a website

hello and thank you for the reply

my HH version is V 2.0 Type A

I don't have any BT virus protection on all the computers they have their own antivirus software.

also yesterday i run a maintenance check on my pc (virus, malware check and registry errors) and i dont know if it something that could be the reason. and i run the scan again to see if a virus was causing this but its all clean.

it doesnt show any tcp errors but it says something about DNS. and i dont know how to use a proxy.

does my IP has something to do with this?
