I want to port a BT sim only number to a BT contract mobile...

So, as above, I am currently using a BT sim only, I want to use that number starting 0771 in a BT contract phone. This came with a different number starting 0748. I thought I may have needed a PAC Code but was told I don't because it's the same company, BT.

The newly supplied contract sim has unlimited calls, texts and 15gb data, this I wanted to transfer across onto my existing number, can anyone help?

Sounds to me like they didn't upgrade your SIMO to a phone contract but instead sold you can outright contract? You won't be able to port from one sim to another in same network as PC codes are for moving a number from one network to another. Give the customer options team a call and they can sort it.

So I contacted the Options Team and after a few minutes on hold was told it wasn't possible. Anyone else any ideas please !!

You definietly can call customer options again see if another advisor can get you the help you need.

Again tried the Options team with no joy, was told it couldn't be done, thanks for the advice anyway people, I reckon I'll have to give in at this point, frustratingly !!!
