I have three email addresses with BT I cannot set up one of them on iMac or iPad message states cannot verify password. The password is correct. The other two email addresses work fine on iMac and iPad BT cannot resolve the problem Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Community. I am sorry to hear that you can't get 1 of your 3 email addresses set up on your iOS devices.
Are you trying to set them up using our BT Email app or are you trying to use the devices own email app?
l am trying to use the iOS app and the bit webmail. The other two email accounts work fine so did the other account until 1 month ago.
I have spent five hours on the phone to BT a waste of time. I see on the community forum this is a common problem but there does not seem to be an answer. I have changed the password five times. One other account has the same password and that is ok.

So - you can access this email address via webmail? It's just that using an app on your devices doesn't work?
The email account in question I can only get by going to MY BT I cannot get it on any app
it would be worth changing the password for the email account that is giving the problem via My BT then attempt to set it up again on your devices.
If your email account is working on one or more of your devices then I would not recommend changing the password, this forum is full of tales of woe from those who did.
Try changing the server name on the Apple devices from mail.btinternet.com to imap.btinternet.com
I have changed the password 3 times on MY BT it has made no dffrence
I have tried using the imap.btinternet.com but did not work. I get the message imap.btinternet.com is not responding Verify that you have entered the correct account info in mail settings.
