same problem here (Oxfordshire)...during peak times, speed drops below 2Mb.
I've had it for a while and after running the BT speed tester today, it suggested to open a ticket, called India and was assured that this is a known, nationwide issue and resolved within the next 48 hours.
Why don't they just make a status notification on the support site and have half of their customers call instead?!?
Looks like their throttling is in amok mode.
I don't pay premium for that kind of service, the least we can expect is that BT makes a statement. Will look at this for a few more days, then raise this with Ofcom.
^^^ indeed that was my reason for moving away from sky. im still within my cancellation for this if i want but will see if it improves. when it works i think most of us agree it is superb
Happening to me here in Northern Ireland again to. Isnt a speed below 18mb considered a fault on infinity? If so BT need to pay up lol
staying steady but i am smelling throttled connection. 5 mins before the midnight and speeds are edging up
