IP Address

Can someone help?  My broadband wi-fi connection is working but not on all my devices.  My 7" android tablet is connected, as is my Sky On Demand.  However, my laptop has now lost its wi-fi connection completely and my new 10" android tablet won't connect via wi-fi at all. It authentices the router but then when it tries to search for an IP address it just continues to search and hangs - it doesn't find an IP address so cannot connect via wi-fi. I thought about perhaps turning off the router for a couple of minutes and turning back on to see whether my laptop and new tablet would then be able to find an IP address and then connect by wifi.  However, I am a concerned that if I switch off the router I'll lose the wi-fi connection I currently have to for my 7" table and Sky On Demand.   Can anyone advise whether this is the case and/or offer any advice on what I could do?   I'm a bit of a technophobe so not very good at this sort of thing! Thanks  PS - at the very must we only use a maximum of 2 devices at a time via wi-fi.

Re: IP Address

Assuming you have a HH4 or HH5.

Try turning Smart Setup off.

Also try separating the SSIDs.

Re: IP Address

Thanks, but I have a HH3.  Will your previous advice still apply?

No,

Instead do a factory reset of the HH3 and see if it helps.
