Re: IP Profile 8000 max speed 3700!

Hi goral,

It seems like there may be a bit of congestion tonight on your exchange (My exchange has suffered from it aswell I believe) which may be the reason for slower throughput.

Any chance you can do another test after midnight when the peak period is over?

Thanks

Re: IP Profile 8000 max speed 3700!

I made test about 1 AM result this same.

I check exchange status from this 3 links and is nothing about my exchange, there is nothing close...

I still get only 3,5 MB/s.

Can I order an engineer?

Or try reset BT Hub?

resetting the hub won't help.  If it's still like that today then I would send an email to the mods for assistance giving your account and phone number and a link back to this thread  forum.moderation.team@bt.com

Re: IP Profile 8000 max speed 3700!

Hi Guys,

Whilst I understand that a throughput speed that is about half of the IP profile is disappointing its not really evidence of a fault on the line.  As was suggested earlier it could just be a bit of higher congestion than what you have noticed before.

In order for the mod team to investigate a potnetial fault we would need to see a much lower reading to bring a case to our supplier.  I would recommend running speed tests over the next week, morning and evening if possible, and recording the results.  If you see a further drop in speed post up the stats and I'll be happy to help you out.

Its always a good iead to scan for malware and making sure you are running the latest versions of Windows etc..

Thx

Craig

Re: IP Profile 8000 max speed 3700!

I have print copy of speed test from last week (3 prints in different time) and 3+ prints from this week.

And result is nearly identical.

8000 IP Profile is from about 20 days, and speed first was very unstable, jumping from 100kb/s to 7000kb/s (when I download two files in this same time from Microsoft website).

Before it was excellent, I have IP Profile 10000 and my speed was nearly my IP Profile.

When I reset My BT Hub 20 day ago (it was not working - something like hanging) starting my problem with speed.

So may be just restart will help?
