really strange as the second diagram looks fine and everything should work as before. did you try changing the filter in the NTE5 for another?
did you check the stats from the hub when connected directly via filter to the master before you reverted back to previous setup?
No I did'nt do either. Will let things sit for a few days and get a set of stats with another filter.
probably best wait as you suggest rather than another reset
Have been running on the following set up for 5 days without disconnection:-
SET UP 1
Stats & speed have remained much the same:-
Download speed 2254Kbps-2274Kbps; IP Profile 2500Kbps; Connection speed 3.250Mbps;
Noise Margin 10.7dB-11.04dB; Line Attenuation 51.6/30.5 Db; Power 18.8/12.4dBs
This morning I powered down the hub and changed my set up to the following using a different filter as recommended.
SET UP 2
Once again my home landline would not ring with the filter connected to the master socket and the phone connected to the filter. Again the Phone will ring if directly connected to the master socket, but not through the filter.
A summary of the Hub Stats are as follows:-
Test Time Date Connection time Downstream Upstream Noise margin Line attenuation power
. (Mbps) (Kbps) dB(down/up) dB(down/up) dBm(down/up)

Test 1 is with SET UP 1,
Test 2 with SET UP 2
Test 3 back to SET UP 1. (since phone will not ring/work)
