IP Profile reduced during fault. Now not rising.

Hi,

 

I had a fault on my line and the phone was dead. This also caused my broadband to reduce in speed from ~70mbits to now a measly ~24 mbits.

 

The BT guy who came said "thats normal, broadband can work with only 1 of the copper connections, but the speed will be lower. Don't worry it will be fine once the fault is fixed..."

 

I know my line is now fixed (thanks to the BT guy who had to spend the better part of a day up a pole for me!) Thanks!

 

However,

 

My line has been perfect for 3 days now but the broadband refuses to reconsider the speed it can achieve!

 

How can i get my speed profile reset so the router can think "Hey i know i can go quicker than this now!".

 

Hope this makes sense to someone!

Do a speedtest HERE, once the first test has completed click on further diagnostcs. Post back the full results.

it can take up to 3 weeks for the dlm to start to raise your speed again after a fault has been fixed
