Haven't been on here in a while so my apologies if this has already been raised but I've just ran a BT Speedtester test and my IP Profile is showing as 83.63 Mbps, yet since I had Infinity 2 activated on launch day, it's never been higher than 77.43 Mbps and that was only for the first week or two (it's averaged 65-74 Mbps since then).
The broadband has been connected for over 10 days, I did run a test maybe 5/6 days ago and the IP was around 74 Mbps so I've not had a disconnection yet my IP has apparently increased.
Is this another glitch in the system???
Can you log an Img mate of your diagnostic check here.
Here you go mate!
this is what i'm syncing at
and this is from bt speedtest
the profile will change on a regular basis and i have seen mine around 78Mbps
I could be wrong but I assumed you couldn't have an IP Profile above 80 Mbps and even if you could, I didn't think the IP could change without the broadband re-establishing a new connection even though mine has changed in the last couple of days yet I've been connected for over 10 days?
i think the main page is wrong as it shows my max to be 0Mbps
But your profile will constantly change on a regular basis
If you had a modded modem or used the draytek you will see your attainable rate constantly changing
I do know of some people that have an attainable rate of 125Mbps
Agreed, the page is definitely wrong but that still doesn't explain the >80 Mbps IP as I didn't think it was possible to exceed this on an up to 80mb package?
Either way, I'm 'only' getting 70mb according to the test so I guess it doesn't matter!
