Thanks, John. I have already rebooted both the hub and the iPad several times. It makes no difference. What I cannot understand is that it worked fine until Sunday.

I am actually using a broadband connection as my iPad does not have 3G facility.

I have done all those things but still no joy. It seems it is a known problem with BBC iPlayer and they say they are working on it. However, I had hoped to find out why my IP address appears to show me as being in Turkey when neither I nor my iPad have been out of the UK. Very odd.

Many thanks to those who have offered solutions. I am grateful that there are people who try to help those of us who are less techie.

BBC iPlayer is not lntended to be used outside of the UK and won't work with a foreign IP address.

 

Go to http://www.whatismyip.com/ and post the result. Just the first 3 set of figures, omit the last
