Hi all
Just ditched Sky and was very pleased with the new Youview box. Certainly for the past few days.
Today I happened to call BT to enquire about a new line and noticed the lady who answered the phone said something about free sports channel. After dealing with the extra line price, which seems a lot at £130, she said she could turn on the sports channel for us and was I interested in some more channels for £2 a month.
I was and they have been activated.
They are in the EPG and the EPG tells me what is on etc etc.
Just after selecting any of the extra channels we get the IPC6023 message.
We also get the message Do you want to set up this channel sometimes on the extra channels.
We say Yes and the BT symbol comes up and the box then says the channels has been set up.
It still isn't available though.
We have BT Infinity and a Draytek 2750vn router hard wired to the Youview box.
I have searched the forum and on-line but there seems to be no definitive guide to what settings need to be altered on the router to get these extra channels to work.
The queue to speak to India is 30 to 45 minutes and after reading other threads it seems unlikely that they can help.
Does anyone have a Draytek router working with the extra channels and if so how???
regards
Trevor

Hmm, thanks, not entirely helpful though.
Obviosuly I am using the Draytek for a reason and do not intend using anything BT supply.
Many thanks, I will have a search.
The official BT line is that the 2750vn is not compatible.......
Was told that just now after waiting for 30 minutes
I have also contacted Draytek.
I'll report back if I can get this up and running.
Yes, I think the one on TalkTalk is a late model 2830. The settings mentioned bare no resemblance to my 2750.
What a ridiculous situation to be in.
I will just cancell the extra channels I think.
Thanks for the replies.

or you could buy a Billion 7800DXL, that works and has many features similar to Draytek...I am using one with homeplugs without problem.

I'm getting very similar problems.
My BT Youview was activated on the 21/8. All seems to work OK except the extra channels.
I have Infinity Option 2
I am using a a Netgear DGFV338, and my Youview box is connected via Powerline adapters. Got the IPC6023 on all 'extra' channels
So, first thing I did was bypass the power line adapters, and connect the Youview box direct to the Netgear router. Still get the same IPC6023 error message.
Plugged in my HH2 and connected that directly to the Youview box. Still get the same error IPC6023 ( did an autoconnect after I connected the HH2) and it says it detected the router OK
Any suggestions ?
Thanks
Chris
