Incomplete recordings

This old chectnut again, must admit though I've not had the problem for ages. Not since moving to YouView mebbee?

3 or 4 recent recordings have the last few minutes missing as the recording finished early.

Mostly on 'History2', one on 'Drama'.

Please bring back the 'add a few mnutes' recording option if BT or the content providers can't get it right.

So damn annoying, I know it shouldn't be but it bl**dy well is

Any workarounds available?

I can't see 'padding' being added, the only other option is to check to see if the programme is available on catch up before you start watching your recording.
