Incorrect password

Good morning 

please could someone help 🙏🏻
im trying to connect to a BT Dual-Band Wi-Fi Extender750 via Technicolor router all lights are right however when I select the extender network EXT2 and enter the wireless key password it tells me it’s incorrect (this is the password I use to connect direct to the router) so it’s defo right

Hi, @AJP70 welcome to the community and thanks for posting.  Does your wifi extender 750 have the latest software installed?

I don’t thing so as I was given this about a year ago and sadly not with the cable.

Hi @AJP70 Oh I see, it's just a standard ethernet cable. If you don't have one, they're not very expensive to buy.

As you've been given them you should also do a factory reset on the extenders before setting them up to put them back to default settings.

Thank you Neil I will do that, with regards to the factory reset I can’t see a button as such more like a hole?
