Re: Induction Loop

Go to solution

Hi Rosiposie28

I have been and asked for some info around this for you and have been told that there are various ways to connect, it depends on the set top box you have and the loop unit.

Regarding the leads required, you need a phono lead, please see the image below, does this help any?

Thanks

Jacqui

Re: Induction Loop

There are only 2 small round openings in the back of my system - one black one red.  I do have the latest BT box as it was only fitted last Wednesday.

Re: Induction Loop

Can I ask do the wires go straight from induction loop to theYouview Box? Do they not need to go into TV?

Re: Induction Loop

I posted the lead yesterday so should be with you today/tomorrow.

I would suggest connecting:

  • youview HDMI -> TV HDMI (using HDMI cable)
  • youview Red/Black RCA -> Induction Loop system Red/Black RCA (using cable in post)

Re: Induction Loop

Hi, the lead has arrived and it works. However the sound is very different from before. It has a kind of echo with it. Is this right? Is it something I will have to try and get used to?

Re: Induction Loop

Hi again,  I have trawled through all the options on both TV and Youview.  I have altered one of the sound settings to get my loop sound back to normal. However this disables the sound to TV so that anyone wanting to watch with me has no sound. But it works for me. If there is any other way please let me know
