Infinity 1 speed drop

Hi guys as you know from my previous post..i  had 10 months of downloading at 36mb then 2 week ago i renew my contract and the next day my noise margin jumped from 6db to 10 db and my speed dropped to 31mb..coincidence ? i rang bt they said coincidence..anyway a few days later my noise margin dropped to 6db but my download speed has stayed the same 31mb...dsl checker says max 40 min 30mb i know my line is capable of a lot more than 31mb so what is going on ? is  drop cos of jump in high noise margin...if so its been 2 weeks im still at 31mb also my ping used to be 32ms now its 48ms..here are my current stats...my noise margin is around 5db now..not sure if thats good or  bad...one more thing..my hh5 normally re boots every 2 or 3 days..im on day 3 now and a few hours..im on a mk3 socket in hall..but i do have 2 phone extension boxes...maybe i should disconect extensions  see if that helps..any comments or advice would be much appreciated.

Try connecting to test socket with a filter and see if that help. Check that extension sockets do not have a dial tone when you are in test socket

hi so take the bottom half of mk3 socket off..then plug a filter into test socket then plug my broadband lead in ? then check no dial tones up stairs ?  will do..i have a feeling the only way to fix this is a dlm reset....again..but dont think bt will offer it,,cos my guarantee speed is 25mb
