I have had Infinity 2 for about 2 years and always had a good speed, typically 76Mbps down 20Mbps up with a noise margin of around 7 or 8. Over the past three weeks there have been numerous drop outs and the speed has been dropping as the DLM kicks in. I eventually changed back to the BT Home Hub 5 and plugged this directly into the master socket (rather than using an extension kit cable). It seems more stable, only dropping out once over the last 24 hours. My noise margin has now increased, see below

If the line stabilises out will the DLM gradually raise the speed or do I need BT/Openreach to reset anything?
If you connection keeps dropping daily then post back as there is a problem with your connection. Until line stable for days the DLM will not increase your speed
Just as a follow up to my issues, it appears that the cable between the master socket and the HH5 was causing my issues. I have replaced the cable and the line has become much more stable.
Over the past few months the speed has increased as the DLM noticed the stable conditions but since 17th December it appears to have stalled. I now get the following.

Given the length of time (now 5 weeks) since reaching the current speed of 66918Kbps, is it likely that the speed will continue to increase further, up to my previos maximum of 79000Kbps?
with your noise margin at 10.8db I would expect that to still reduce to normal 6db with speed increases towards your attainable
