Infinity 2 VDSL setings

BT upgraded me to infiniti2 2 years ago since then line deterioated to dial up conections. last weekend had engineer atending premises and replacing caible from BT DB to home socket. Line looks mutch better but dose any one know how long it takes for Dslam to bump your speed up? curently got the folowing on my line. Previosly data rate was going up and down with the weather.

Can take days, weeks or months!

You might as well be on Infinity 1 though as the maximum on Infinity 1 is now 55meg. The most your line seems to support is 49.5meg.

agree weby but was upgraded by BT in 2014 had issues with line and was still paying for infinity 2. now i got line sorted dont want to give up. need to check it out line speed is always going up since saturday. I take only time will show month here or there not big diference? Hence it was line issue will ask BT to refund any way.

It's all about distance from the street cabinet that feeds your property by copper (hopefully) cable.

Like all xDSL technologies, they are distance dependant.

earli hours in the morning conection got rebooted now fastpath profile is active for downstream dont know why my max rate droped? there seams not too many CRC probably will need to play with SNR Margin and hope that it will bump up in time.
