Infinity 2 - have i made a mistake?

Hi all, had inifinity 2 switched on last fri, and the speed was exactly the same as with my other package. i was guaranteed a line speed minimum of 35, but i'm getting around 21-23 upload. I have read around, and it seems i can actually get the max speed of 26Mbps

I have been a Bt customer for years, and at the moment i'm confused as to why i'm going to be paying alot more, for what I used to have, and where my neighbours are getting much faster speeds. Would I have the option of reverting back to the older package or am I locked in this for the term of the contract because i'm stupid and believed a 'minimum guaranteed' thing?
