...and I'm happy.
Was told when I ordered that I would get 58/17 but when installed it came through as 80/20
Now my only problem is getting that speed through to my back room as the Gigabit homeplugs I use will only push to 40mbps.
Looks like I'll be crimping a nice long ethernet cable later this week - oh well.
Glad the broadband itself is good.
You should get better than that with gigabit powerlines, I get double that (real throughput) with 500Mbps ones in a fairly awkward mains setup.
A few things to check on powerlines.
1 - NEVER use them plugged into a surge protected extension.
2 - Do not use plugged into a twin socket with computer things in the other half of the twin.
3 - If possible, don't plug into an extension at all.
I didn't believe 2 when I first read it, but it's true. Small rearrangement of sockets nearly doubled my powerline speed.
Yeah, I use them in the wall sockets only but still get these poor speeds, I will look at rearranging sockets though.
Weird as the estate is only 15 years old - hardly old wiring.
Woah! That's fast! Yeah I was quoted 68/19 but I recieved 74/10-19
I thought the max line profile for BT Infinity 2 was 77 download and upload 20?
