Infinity 2 new install- line slow

Go to solution
Engineer here this morning, said he got 80 down, 30 up on his tester. Plugged in new BT hh5 and we get 25 down, 8 up. He said that's nirmal, it'll go up.

Any ideas how long it takes?

Ta,

Dave

Yup, but my master socket at end of house extensions. I asked the BT engineer to install a new master socket where line enters house, he didn't want to.

you really need to connect to the test socket to eliminate any possible internal wiring problems with your extensions

I agree. That's why I asked engineer to put test/master where it should be, ie at first point of entry to house.
