Grey junction box. Easy access as lifts through hatch in floor to work on. He did day only 1 pair connected so he wanted to leave it.

Yup...

At a loss now. Will wait a week then call an engineer again. So frustrating as I flagged issue when he was here.

I'm sure he was full engineer from uniform and van but that maybe not how you tell!

the van usually has contractors name on it maybe Kellys

 

you need to phone customer services and complain that your conenction speed is nothing like estimate you received and you need engineer visit to fix it   follow ups are openreach engineers

Call customer services, told to wait until Wednesday. They'll check speed again then and if lower than 50Mbps they'll get an out.
