Installation problems

Installation engineers disconnected Virgin, not telling customer (me) external aerial socket shared with Virgin connection. Then left, depriving customer of any TV channels except those from BT TV. Why didn't the engineers explain or notify me of the proble of a shared socket? Bad start for BT

Re: Installation problems

Virgin use cable to provide the channels, so that would be no use for FreeView reception, which needs an external TV aerial, which is a totally different type of connector anyway.

I am assuming BT have provided you with a YouView box, so all you need to do is to connect a TV aerial into it. It is your responsibility to provide that connection.
