Installed BT Desktop help,now PPPOA is crashing because of motive

He came back, changed the socket, then checked, he should of checked before and after right? he said my line is perfectly usuable, and said the high snr i keep having is due to the isp capping me and making the speed  drop because of the cap, hhmmm, so apparantly according to the engineer im A-OK, always happens evrytime i hav a visit, he didnt reset my line either, he said thats down to the isp, well, i know that but your suppose to ring them and have it done for me after youve been playing Mr Engineer, so ive got to contact the mods now and get it reset that way.

I also changed back to the hhb2, i reset the hub an i have these in the events log,

those messages seem to be common to the hubs.

As for a cap, that sounds total rubbish. It may be that your target margin is set above 6db but that is not a cap it is a setting of the broadband to ensure stability. Cap implies something totally different in my opinion.

**bleep**, i forgot hhb2's dont have gigabyte ports, ohwell, its not like i can get gigabyte speeds is it lol, but it does make my connection slightly better with response from hub to pc, sod it, if they replace the hhb3 then ill give it another try with hhb3, otherwise im staying as is.

What are the new stats, and I think you would be best asking the mods for a HH3 Type B...

new stats are as follows, which are worse, no ones reset the line, and mods havnt answered my emails since thursday.

My upload is better, but thats the hhb2 doing that, hhb3 makes your upload slower for some reason, if i snyc at 1176k on hhb3 i would get around 900k

I think your speed is worse because DLM has increased your line margin with all the work that's been done.  Why dont you contact the live chat by following this link: http://bit.ly/ra3XDF and asking them to do an SNR reset, they can actually do it.

I noticed they'd changed something, it used to be 9am - 5am only and the guys were Northern Ireland, and today it is 7am - 11pm and its India :(.
